    ACC announces Clemson game time

    GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Atlantic Coast Conference Office announced Monday the game times for the football contests of Saturday, Oct. 1, including Tech's home game against Clemson. The Hokies and Tigers will tee it up at 6 p.m. in a game that will be televised nationally by ESPN2.

    Also being announced Monday were the following games:

    Wake Forest at Boston College, ACC Network, 12:30 pm
    Georgia Tech at NC State, ABC/ESPN*, 3:30 pm
    Towson at Maryland, RSN, 3:30 pm
    Bethune-Cookman at Miami, ESPNU, 3:30 pm
    Idaho at Virginia, ESPN3, 3:30 pm
    Duke at FIU, ESPNU, 7 pm (Change from Previous Announcement)
    North Carolina at East Carolina, CBSSN, 8 pm (Previously Announced)

    The game will mark the first Saturday night game in Lane Stadium since 2008 when Tech and Duke played a 5:34 contest on Nov. 22 in near-freezing temperatures. The last home game for Tech later than 6 o'clock on a Saturday came in 2006 when the Hokies hosted Southern Miss in a 7 p.m. game.
