    Austin Peay game time announced
    The two teams will kick off at 1:30 p.m.

    BLACKSBURG – The Atlantic Coast Conference office announced Thursday the game times for portions of its early-season 2012 football schedule, for Thursday night games, and for the Dr. Pepper ACC Football Championship Game in Charlotte on Dec. 1.

    The Virginia Tech-Austin Peay game on Sept. 8 will kickoff at 1:30 p.m. It will be broadcast on ESPN3.

    Also, as announced earlier, Tech’s season opener against Georgia Tech on Labor Day night will kick off at 8 p.m. and be broadcast by ESPN. The broadcasts for the Hokies’ Thursday night games at Miami (Nov. 1) and against Florida State in Blacksburg (Nov. 8) will both start at 7:30 p.m. Both will be shown on ESPN.

    The Dr. Pepper ACC Football Championship Game will start at either 8 p.m. on ABC or at 7:45 p.m. on ESPN.
