Hokies Teaming up to help Hurricane Relief Effort
Monetary donations to be collected by American Red Cross

BLACKSBURG – The Virginia Tech Athletics Department, along with the student body of Virginia Tech, are working collaboratively through the Hokies United campaign and the American Red Cross to help those affected by Hurricane Sandy. Monetary donations will be collected outside the gates of Lane Stadium at the home football game on Saturday, Nov. 24 as the Hokies take on Virginia.
Funds raised will be donated to the American Red Cross. Donations will be collected prior to the game at all gates and in the parking lots. Look for volunteers with American Red Cross buckets and join the effort to help hurricane victims by making a cash donation. Kick-off is scheduled for noon and gates will open at 10 a.m.
