ESPN's Car Wash Awaits Frank Beamer Tuesday
Virginia Tech's head coach will be at ESPN's headquarters for a series of interviews on various shows

BLACKSBURG (hokiesports.com) - A few days before Virginia Tech football begins fall practice in preparation for the Aug. 31 opener against Alabama, head coach Frank Beamer will spend a few hours in Bristol, Conn.

Beamer will be at ESPN’s headquarters Tuesday (July 30) and will appear on multiple shows across ESPN’s family of television, radio and online networks.

Beamer and five other ACC head coaches will go from show to show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. as part of what has become known as ESPN’s “Car Wash.”

Below is Beamer’s interview schedule:

10:00 a.m. - CFB Reporter Brett McMurphy
10:30 a.m. - Podcast - ESPNU CFB w/ Ivan Maisel
11:20 a.m. - SportsCenter
11:40 a.m. - SportsCenter Tonight Radio
12:05 p.m. - Digital Media
1:00 p.m. - ESPN.com Chat

Be aware that not all content will air live and the schedule is subject to change.

The other ACC head coaches joining Beamer in Bristol Tuesday: Steve Addazio (Boston College), Randy Edsall (Maryland), Jimbo Fisher (Florida State), Al Golden (Miami) and Jim Grobe (Wake Forest). Six other ACC coaches are visiting ESPN’s studios Monday.
