    Tech/William & Mary football game moved to 4 p.m.
    Contest now to be televised on ESPNEWS

    BLACKSBURG - The Virginia Tech Athletics Department, in conjunction with ESPN and the Atlantic Coast Conference, announced Friday game time and broadcast changes for the Hokies’ football opener against William & Mary. The game will still be played on Saturday, Aug. 30, but will now kick at 4 p.m. and be televised by ESPNEWS.

    The game was originally slated for a 3:30 p.m. start on ESPN3, an online-only platform.

    Season tickets are on sale now through hokietickets.com.
