BLACKSBURG – Tech Talk LIVE! will make its 2015 debut tonight, Aug. 24, at First & Main’s Frank Theaters Cinebowl & Grille from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. ET.

Tech Talk LIVE! is possible as a part of First & Main’s new partnership with Virginia Tech Athletics and IMG. “We decided to make a significant commitment of support for Virginia Tech athletics – across all sports – to strengthen First & Main’s connection with the Hokie Nation,” said David Street of First & Main.

Tech Talk LIVE!, hosted by Jon Laaser and Mike Burnop, is scheduled to air each Monday night in front of a live audience, and can be heard on the following Virginia Tech IMG Sports Network radio affiliates throughout the region:

“First & Main is quickly becoming Blacksburg’s dining, entertainment and shopping destination,” said Brandon Forbis, General Manager of Virginia Tech IMG Sports Marketing. “We are very excited the center will continue to be the home of Tech Talk LIVE!, and that we will promote all the reasons to visit First & Main through Virginia Tech Athletics.”

“Bull & Bones paved the way for First & Main’s relationship with Virginia Tech Athletics and we appreciate Jon and his team,” said Street. “As the center has grown we will build upon the foundation they built.”

Monday night’s guest lineup includes:

· Bud Foster

· Brandon Facyson

· Frank Beamer

Tech Talk LIVE! will continue to encourage fan interaction with Virginia Tech coaches and administrators, and will be broadcast from a state-of-the-art facility with the largest video wall and most screens in the area at Frank Theaters Cinebowl & Grille.

“We’re excited about the arrangements we have made for a complete fan experience during the show,” said Bruce Frank, founder of Frank Theaters. “From up close in the sports stadium to the simulcast on the many video screens throughout the venue, fans will have a great time during the show.”

As part of the First & Main sponsorship, the Center will be the official viewing party location of every away football and basketball game, as well as other various sporting events. “Each of the restaurants in the center will have their own unique promotions during the games,” Street added.

The radio program can also be heard through various digital platforms. HokiesXtra and TuneIn will provide season-long coverage of all Tech games and talk shows for fans listening on computers, phones or tablets.
