Tech Third Entering Final Round of Ironwood Intercollegiate
Stinnett tied for sixth to lead Hokies

GREENVILLE, N.C. - Virginia Tech remains in third place after the second round of the Ironwood Intercollegiate at the Bradford Creek Golf Club in Greenville, N.C. The Hokies shot a 300 on Monday afternoon.
Ryan Stinnett leads the Hokies with a 147, good for a tie for sixth place. Johnson Wagner is tied for ninth place with a 148 and Chris McKeel is tied for 23rd place with a 153. Brendon de Jonge and Brian Krusoe are tied for 32nd place with 154s. de Jonge recorded Tech's best round of the day with a 74.
Furman leads the 19-team tournament at 593. UNC Wilmington moved into second place with a 597, one stroke ahead of the Hokies. Georgia Southern is in fourth with a 599 and Coastal Carolina is fifth, with a 601. Host East Carolina is sixth, with a 605. The tournament wraps up with the final round on Tuesday.
