Hokies Ranked Fourth in Region

Augusta, Ga. - Virginia Tech is fourth in the men's golf South Region team rankings, as released by the NCAA Golf Advisory committee. Hokie junior Brendon de Jonge (Harare, Zimbabwe) is currently fifth in the individual rankings.
Tech is currently ranked seventh in the Golfstat.com poll and is ranked 15th in both the Golfweek/Sagarin and the Precept/GCAA polls. The South Region's top three teams are also the top three teams in the current Precept/GCAA national poll. The Hokies play in the Cleveland Golf/Augusta State Invitational this weekend, where eight of the top 12 teams in the region will compete.
