NEW LONDON, N.C. – Virginia Tech shot a second round one-under-par 287 on Saturday and is in sixth place at the 56th Annual ACC Men’s Golf Championship at the par-72, 7,102-yard Old North State Club at Uwharrie Point in New London, N.C. The Hokies have a two-day total of even-par 576.

Georgia Tech leads the event at 11-under-par 565, five strokes ahead of Clemson.
Six of the 11 ACC teams enter the tournament ranked in the top 50 nationally in the Golfstat.com poll, including #3 Clemson and #9 Georgia Tech. Weaver, 35th nationally, is one of seven ACC golfers in the top 50, including Clemson’s Kyle Stanley, ranked fourth, Hill, ranked seventh and Tringale, ranked eighth. The Hokies are 53rd in the Golfstat.com rankings and 61st in the Golfweek/Sagarin poll. Weaver is ranked 51st in Golfweek/Sagarin rankings, where Tringale is third and Hill is fourth.
