Women's Lacrosse Holds on at Ohio State

Hokies remain perfect on season with 9-8 win.

April 3, 1999

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Virginia Tech remained perfect on the season, surviving a 9-8 struggle versus Ohio State in women's lacrosse action on Saturday afternoon. The Hokies improve to 5-0 with the win while the Buckeyes fall to 5-4.

The Hokies dominated the first half, taking a 6-4 lead into halftime. However, the Buckeyes came out strong in the second half, scoring three quick goals. After a half-hour rain delay Virginia Tech got their offense back on track and outscored the Buckeyes 3-1 down the stretch for the win.
