Box Score
PITTSBURGH (AP) - Brendan Dunlop made a pair of free throws with four seconds left to lift Virginia Tech over Duquesne 59-58 in an Atlantic 10 game Wednesday, extending the Dukes' losing streak to 13.

Virginia Tech (8-11, 3-6) won for just the third time in 10 games. The Dukes (4-16, 0-9) haven't won since beating Radford on Dec. 5.

Wayne Smith's two free throws gave the Dukes a one-point lead with 11 seconds remaining. Virginia Tech called time three seconds later and Dunlop was fouled by Courtney Wallace as he drove the lane. Wallace took a desperation shot at the buzzer but his 22-footer hit off the rim.

Eddie Lucas led Virginia Tech with 17 points. Dunlop scored nine. Dennis Mims came off the bench to score eight points and had a game-best 10 rebounds.

Smith led Duquesne with 24 points and Wallace added 16.
