BLACKSBURG, Va. -- Virginia Tech head men's basketball coach Seth Greenberg and the Hokie basketball staff will host the 2005 Virginia Tech Coaches Clinic Oct. 15 at Cassell Coliseum.

The one-day event will feature on-floor coaching demonstrations by Virginia Tech head coach Seth Greenberg and the Virginia Tech men's basketball staff during practice. Also, Hargrave Military Academy head coach Kevin Keatts will be the guest lecturer at this year's event.

The clinic program this season will begin on Friday, Oct. 14, with an optional viewing of Virginia Tech's practice. On Oct. 15, following morning registration will be a lecture on taking ownership of student-athletes' academic success and then drills for developing players and team practice. After a lunch break, the clinic will conclude with Virginia Tech's team practice.

The clinic is open to all area high school, AAU and youth league coaches for both men's and women's programs. Cost of the clinic is $50 for head coaches and $40 for each assistant coach, which includes a clinic shirt.
