Welcome Whit Babcock
On Friday, Jan. 24, Whit Babcock was hired as the new Director of Athletics at Virginia Tech.
Currently the Director of Athletics at the University of Cincinnati, Babcock is a 1992 graduate of James Madison University and a native Virginian.
Jarell Eddie currently has 1,068 points at Virginia Tech and is 39th in career scoring for the Hokies.
Bobby Stevens has been named Virginia Tech’s “ACC Legend” for 2014.
Hokies Support Autism Awareness
James Johnson is one of nearly 100 men’s basketball coaches throughout the country that will be wearing the “Autism Speaks” pin on his suit jacket today.
The Hokies travel to Tallahassee on Wednesday to take on the Seminoles. The game, televised by regional sports networks, will tip-off at 9 p.m.
