The Virginia Tech men's basketball team plays its final regular season game on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. against Wake Forest. The game, Senior Day for the Hokies, will be shown on regional sports networks and the ACC Network Extra (subject to blackouts).

THE HOKIES (21-8, 10-7)
The Hokies enter the game 21-8 overall and 10-7 in ACC action. Tech defeated No. 25/25 Miami, 66-61, in Cassell Coliseum on Monday night. Ty Outlaw set a new Virginia Tech school record with eight made three-pointers, en route to a career-high 24 points. Seth Allen added 12 points for the Hokies.

THE DEMON DEACONS (17-12, 8-9)

Wake Forest enters the game 17-12 overall and 8-9 in league play. The Demon Deacons defeated No. 8 Louisville, 88-81, on Wednesday night in Winston-Salem. John Collins leads the Deacs in scoring at 19.3 points per game and Bryant Crawford is averaging 15.4 points per game. Wake Forest is coached by Danny Manning, in his third season in Winston-Salem.

The Hokies lead the series, 32-30, and has won the last three meetings, most recently an 81-74 victory at Wake last season. Tech swept the series with Wake Forest last year, winning 93-91, in Cassell Coliseum. Tech is 22-10 in home games against Wake Forest and is 14-7 in games in Cassell. Virginia Tech is 12-6 against the Demon Deacons since Tech joined the ACC in the 2004-05 season.

Up Next: The Hokies hit the road to the 2017 ACC Tournament, to be played at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn, New York. Tech will play on Wednesday with the time and opponent to be determined.
