    Chalkley tied for Junior Amateur lead

    Incoming Virginia Tech golfer Bryce Chalkley has a two-round total of 134 and is tied with Jake Mondy of Blacksburg for the lead at the 58th Virginia State Golf Association Junior Amateur Championship at the Roanoke Country Club in Roanoke.

    Chalkley posted a seven-under-par 64 on Tuesday and a one-under 70 on Wednesday for his 136 total. The rising freshman from Richmond was the first round leader. The final round will be played on Thursday.

    The duo has a three stroke lead over Jack Adkins of Martinsville and are five strokes ahead of Alex Lloyd of Virginia Beach.
