Hardwick To Serve as Instructor at Golf Seminar

Virginia Tech head golf coach Jay Hardwick has been selected by the Golf Coaches Association of America as an instructor at the Hall of Fame Teaching and Coaching Seminar to be conducted January 21-22, 2001 at the Walt Disney World Golf Resort in Florida.

Hardwick is one of six coaches selected to conduct the seminar for members of the GCAA two days prior to their annual convention and NCAA coaches meeting.

Joining Hardwick in the event will be Fred Warren of East Tennessee State, Gene Miranda of the Air Force Academy, Conrad Rehling (retired) of Alabama, Bill Johnson of Dartmouth and Robert Linville of UNC Greensboro.

Virginia Tech, currently ranked 14th nationally in the MasterCard poll, begins its 2001 spring season on March 5 at the Matlock Collegiate Classic in Lakeland, Fla.
