HOKIES RANKED THIRD AFTER FIRST DAY OF CLEVELAND COLLEGIATE CHAMPIONSHIP
March 20, 2000 AIKEN, S.C. - The Virginia Tech golf team is currently ranked third after one day of competition in the Cleveland Golf Collegiate Championship. Tech posted rounds of 291-284 - 575. The Hokies' Johnson Wagner ranked tied for 8th at the end of the competition today with rounds of 71 -70 - 141. Brendon de Jonge was tied for 18th with rounds of 75 -69 - 144. Chris McKeel and Brian Krusoe were both tied at 3 over par after the first rounds. McKeel recorded rounds of 74 - 71 - 145 while Krusoe tallied rounds of 71 - 74 - 145. Tech's Eric Reynolds was ranked 66th with rounds of 77 - 77 - 154. Competition will resume tomorrow in Aiken, South Carolina.
