Hokies Tee Off In NCAAs

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Virginia Tech tees off today at 11:33 a.m. CDT in the first round of the NCAA Golf Central Regional at the Pleasant Valley Country Club in Little Rock, Arkansas.

    Tech, the 2002 BIG EAST Conference Champions, are the fourth seed in the regional. The top 10 teams will advance to the NCAA Golf Championships at the OSU Scarlet Course in Columbus, Ohio May 29-June 1.

    The Hokies' Brendon de Jonge will play in the event after breaking the fifth rib on his left side on May 2.
