Play Suspended at NCAA Golf
Hokies in 10th place when play halted

DURHAM, N.C. - Rain suspended third round action at the NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championships Friday afternoon at the Duke University Golf Club in Durham, North Carolina. Virginia Tech is in 10th place at the time play was suspended.

Junior Johnson Wagner was leading Tech, at three-under par after 14 holes. Wagner, teeing-off first for the Hokies, birdied the first two holes of the morning. Sophomore Brendon de Jonge was one-under par after 12 holes on the morning and is tied for 12th place in the tournament.

Arizona continues to lead the event, at 14-under par. Florida is second, at eight-under par and Clemson is third at one-under par.

The field will conclude the third round at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday morning. After the course is serviced, the final round will begin at 9 a.m. Tech will tee off at 9:54 a.m.
