Tech Golfers To Play In Duke Golf Classic

    BLACKSBURG, Va. - The Virginia Tech men's golf team is looking for continued success in the upcoming Duke Golf Classic. The Hokies won their last tournament with a seven shot victory over host Rhode Island in the Adams Cup of Newport.

    Brian Krusoe (Northfield, Ohio) has been outstanding for Tech this year, finishing in the top ten in every tournament, including a second place finish in the G. Gunby Jordan Intercollegiate. Currently, the Hokies are led by Krusoe who holds a 72.4 average per round followed by Brendon De Jonge (Harare, Zimbabwe) with a 74.

    The Duke Golf Classic is set to tee off on Sunday Oct. 15, at the Duke University Golf Club in Durham, N.C.
