De Jonge Second at All-America Golf Classic
    Top national field concludes play Tuesday

    EL PASO, Tex. - Virginia Tech golfer Brendon de Jonge is tied for second place after the first two rounds of the Western Refining College All-America Golf Classic, held Monday at the 6,781 yard, par-71 El Paso Country Club in El Paso, Tex.

    De Jonge, a senior from Harare, Zimbabwe, shot 73-69=142 and is three strokes behind Adam Rubinson of TCU. De Jonge is tied at 142 with Dustin Bray of North Carolina and John Holmes of Kentucky. The event, comprised of 24 all-americans, is an individual, exempt event.

    The final round of the tournament will take place Tuesday morning, with tee times beginning at 7:30 a.m. CST.
