AUGUSTA, Ga. - Inclement weather suspended Saturday's second round and has shortened the Adminstaff/Augusta State Invitational to a 36-hole tournament to be completed on Sunday at the par-72, 7,403-yard Champions Retreat Golf Club in Augusta, Ga. No team was able to complete more than six holes on Saturday. Virginia Tech was three-over-par in the morning and will enter play on Sunday in 12th place at the 18-team event. Jurrian van der Vaart (Sr., Almelo, the Netherlands) was one-under-par through his five holes on Saturday and leads the Hokies and is tied for 18th place, individually. The tournament, an annual precursor to the Masters, features six of the top 12 teams in the country, as ranked by Golfstat.com. Fourteen of the 17 Division I teams in the event are ranked in the top 50 and USC-Aiken is ranked third in Division II this season.
