Preseason Camp 2012 Blog

It was an early wake-up call for some as conditioning started at 7 a.m. Hopefully getting sleep the previous night wasn’t an issue. Before the fog had completely lifted, stretching began. The guys needed to make sure that they were ready for what was ahead.

The Cooper Test. A two-mile run in 12 minutes. Impossible? No. Difficult? Yes.

For the average person, not your run of the mill well-conditioned athlete, it wouldn’t be advisable. It’s a test that most don’t look forward to, while some actually appear enjoy it.

If the run wasn’t enough, Coach Kinney put the team through a short core workout, after a brief rest of course.
