BLACKSBURG, Va. - The Virginia Tech men's soccer team has released its 2003 spring schedule. The lineup features several scrimmages that include games against a professional team, the Richmond Kickers, as well as matches against four 2002 NCAA participants.

In addition, the Hokies will also host an indoor tournament on March 23, beginning at 9 a.m. in Rector Field House. Scheduled participants include Tech, James Madison, Navy, Roanoke College, Bridgewater College, Hampden-Sydney College and the University of Charleston (WV).

Tech kicks off its spring season on March 16, as it travels to Richmond. Va., for a 4 p.m. contest against the Richmond Kickers (A-League). Following the Virginia Tech 9-a-side Indoor Tournament, the Hokies head to Durham, N.C., on March 29 for scrimmages against Duke (1 p.m.) and the University of Richmond (4 p.m.). Tech then takes on Penn State on April 5 at the East River Soccer Complex in Bluefield, W.Va. The Hokies wrap up the spring schedule with an April 13 game against Virginia at the Roanoke College Field in Salem, Va.
