Seton Hall, Providence Earn Tournament Bids
    Tiebreaker keep Hokies from tournament berth

    With victories on Monday by Providence and Georgetown, the Virginia Tech men's soccer team finishes the 2002 regular season tied with Seton Hall and Providence for seventh place in the BIG EAST Conference. Under conference tiebreakers, the Pirates and Friars receive the seventh and eighth berths in the BIG EAST Men's Soccer Tournament, which begins on Saturday.

    Virginia Tech completes the season 10-7-1 overall and 5-5 in BIG EAST action under first-year head coach Oliver Weiss.
