Two Hokies Garner ACC Accolades
Nason and Taylor earn All-ACC awards

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Virginia Tech's Ben Nason and Ian Taylor were named to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference Teams for men's soccer Tuesday afternoon.

Nason was named to the 2004 All-ACC second team, while Taylor was named to the All-Freshman team.

Nason, a native of Stafford, Va., has tallied a team-high six assists, while adding three goals on the season. The sophomore midfielder has played in 18 games, starting 17. Nason's first goal of the season was the game-winner in the 1-0 victory over West Virginia in the Virginia Tech Classic.

Taylor, a native of Reston, Va., has helped the defense shutout eight opponents this season. The defender also has one assist on the year. Taylor's assist came against then-No. 13 Penn State. He was also named to the Penn State Nike Classic All-Tournament team.

The Hokies play Wake Forest at noon on Wednesday, Nov. 10, in the quarterfinals of the ACC Tournament in Cary, N.C.
