Chad Steuck to appear on Blue Ridge Live
Hokies to learn of NCAA Tournament fate Monday evening
November 6, 2006 BLACKSBURG, Va. - The Virginia Tech men's soccer team will learn Monday if it has been selected for an at-large bid to the mens NCAA Soccer tournament. In advance of the selection news, Tech senior Chad Steuck will appear on Blue Ridge Live with Roland Lazenby to talk about the Hokies' season and the growth in Tech soccer over the past four seasons. Blue Ridge Live With Roland Lazenby airs on Fox Radio WPIN 810 AM, "The Big Signal," from 2 to 4 p.m. weekdays and can be heard across the New River Valley as well as much of Western Virginia and Southern West Virginia. The segment featuring Steuck and Tech soccer will begin at 2:05 p.m. Monday. The interview will later be accessible on the internet at blueridgelive.com, the website for the show. Tech lost 4-3 to N.C. State in last week's ACC Tournament despite two goals and an assist from first-team All-ACC member Patrick Nyarko. The Hokies have posted an 11-7-1 record on the season and are in contention for an at-large bid. Lazenby teaches communication at Virginia Tech and has interviewed a variety of the school's sports figures over the years. Lazenby has also written two books on Tech football. The NCAA men's soccer championship bracket will be announced Monday between 4 and 5 p.m. ET on ESPNews.
