No.49 Ohio State Defeats No.60 Virginia Tech in Men's Tennis

    COLUMBUS, Ohio - No. 49 Ohio State defeated No. 60 Virginia Tech, 7-0, Friday night at Jesse Owens West. OSU Captured wins all six singles matches and all three doubles matches.

    Chris Porter led the way with a big win over Davor Dupljak in three sets, 5-7, 6-3, 6-4. Porter and Andrew Carlson ranked No. 29 in doubles, defeated Dupljak and Saber Kadiri, 8-4. OSU's duo of Derek DeFalco and Bob Wellstein defeated Michael Kurz and Eddie Terzimehic, 8-3. Tech's Gerard Baynham took Vince Ng to three sets before being defeated 6-4, 0-6, 6-1 at No. 4 singles.
