    Contini secures win on final day of UVA Ranked+1

    UVA Ranked+1 FInal Draws

    CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Freshman Amerigo Contini secured a win in the finals of the blue singles draw consolation at the UVA Ranked+1 on Sunday afternoon in Charlottesville, Va.

    Contini battled with VCU’s Michal Voscek in the final round as the two went to three sets. After falling in the first set, 6-4, Contini rallied to take sets two and three with scores of 6-4, 6-4.

    The Hokies will return to action at the ITA All-American, Sept. 28-Oct. 5.

    Gold Singles Draw
    Stuart Depaolo (UNC) def. #96 Lucas Oliveira (VT) 6-3, 6-2
