Austin Out For Season

Tech cornerback Larry Austin is out for the remainder of the season after an MRI Tuesday morning revealed that Austin tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. Austin, a redshirt junior, went down with the injury on Tech's second defensive possession and never returned to the game. He injured the knee while trying to tackle BC tailback Cedric Washington on a 19-yard run early in the game.

Eric Green, a true freshman from Clewiston, Fla., is scheduled to start against Temple.

Also, redshirt freshman tight end Seth Noonkester will have surgery Friday to repair a torn ACL. Noonkester tore his in a practice at Rector Fieldhouse while running down to cover a punt.
