The Tech athletics department has learned that the only way ESPN2 will show the Tech-Temple game this Saturday at Lane Stadium is if both American League Divisional Baseball series are sweeps. Game two for both the Seattle-Chicago series and the New York-Oakland series is set for tonight, with game three for both scheduled for Friday night.

Tuesday night's winners were the Oakland A's and the Seattle Mariners.

If ESPN2 doesn't televise the Tech-Temple game, Comcast Sports Network in Philadelphia, WJPR in Roanoke and WPXV in Norfolk will carry the game. ESPN is also trying to arrange for the large cable systems in Richmond and Northern Virginia to carry the game on its local access channels. ESPN will provide the Tech athletics department and the Big East Conference with additional details on those cables systems as soon as possible.
