Coach Frank Beamer is taped by an ESPN crew for use on the opening of
tomorrow night's 7 p.m. ESPN broadcast of the Virginia Tech-Syracuse football
game. The crew taped the Hokies landing at the airport and today's
walk-through at the Carrier Dome for the opening segment which will focus on
heavily-favored Tech traveling to Syracuse, where the Hokies have not won
during the Beamer Era. The last time Tech won at the Dome was in 1986, 26-17.
