Two-time NFCA Mid-Atlantic Region selection

2013: A pillar in the leadoff spot once again … A second-team NFCA Mid-Atlantic Region selection … Named to the ACC All-Tournament Team … Started all 59 games in center field … Batted .299 with 10 doubles, a triple, eight home runs and 23 RBIs … Drew 33 walks and scored a team-high 47 runs … Also led the team with 11 hit by pitch … Had 20 stolen bases, a team high … Didn't commit an error in 63 chances … Had 15 multi-hit games and seven multi-RBI games.

2012: A first-team NFCA Mid-Atlantic Region selection … A second-team All-ACC selection … Named to the 2012 ACC All-Tournament Team … The state's rookie of the year, as voted on by VaSID … Also a unanimous first-team selection to the all-state squad … Led the team in batting average with a .312 clip as a true freshman … Started all 63 games in center field … Led the team with 59 hits, 14 doubles and 24 stolen bases … Had six home runs from the leadoff spot and drove in 35 runs … Scored 47 runs, tops on the team … Had seven sacrifice bunts and two sacrifice flies … Was hit 10 times … Committed just one error all year in 70 chances … Led the team with 19 multi-hit games and had nine multi-RBI games … Led off three games with home runs … Set Virginia Tech freshman records for runs scored (47), hit by pitch (10) and tied the mark for stolen bases (24).
