High School: Lettered four times for Coach Pete Henson at Beckman High … Named second-team all-county as a senior by OCVarsity.com … Was named the Tustin News’2008 All-City Softball Team’s Most Valuable Player after going 14-3 with a 0.66 ERA as a junior … Had 135 strikeouts in 116 innings and also hit .410 with 21 RBI that season … Named player of the year by the publication her freshman and sophomore years as well … Played travel ball for the Irvine Sting, which was coached by Blair Ota, father of former Hokie Erin Ota.
