Tech heads to Ann Arbor for Super Regionals
Best-of-three series begins Saturday on ESPN

The Virginia Tech softball team will head to Ann Arbor, Mich., for a best-of-three series against fourth-seeded Michigan, starting Saturday, May 24. The two teams will play a single game on Saturday at noon and then Sunday at 1 p.m. If a third game is necessary, it would be played right after the first Sunday game.

All three games will be broadcast nationally on ESPN and on ESPN360.com. The games will be played at the Wilpon Softball Complex at Alumni Field on the campus of UM.

Virginia Tech (46-16) knocked off 13th-seeded Tennessee to advance to the Super Regionals. Michigan (51-6) defeated Kent State to win its regional at home.
