About The Coach
Rickey Hill

Coach Rickey Hill is a 1990 graduate of Methodist College in Fayetteville, NC with over 22 years of cheerleading and dance experience. Prior to coming to Virginia Tech in 2004 he was the cheerleading and dance coach at Methodist College in Fayetteville, NC, Cheerleading Coach at The University of Texas at Austin, the cheerleading and Dance Team Coach at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia and the Cheerleading and Dance Team Coach at Winthrop University.

While at James Madison University, his team won the 1996 Division I NCA National Championships and 2nd place in the Grand Championships. Along with his experience in coaching on the collegiate level, he has choreographed numerous routines for high school, all-star, college, and semi-professional cheerleading and dance teams across the coaching profession. These teams include the University of Texas, Clemson University, Virginia Tech, Morgan State University, George Mason University, Georgia Tech, Extreme All-Stars, Stonewall Jackson High School, William Byrd High School, Hidden Valley High School, Spotswood High School, Chantilly High School, and Cheer Thunder All-Stars.
