Sarah Jonson enters her first season at the collegiate coaching level and joins the Tech after an impressive four-year playing career at William & Mary.
Recently wrapping up her collegiate career as the all-time caused turnovers leader in William & Mary history (134), Jonson was also a two-time Tewaarton Award nominee as a four-year starter. In addition, she earned IWLCA All-America and CAA Defensive Player of the Year honors twice in her career.
Jonson does bring coaching and instructional experience to the Hokies as she has coached at the annual William & Mary camps, also holding a clinic in her hometown and giving private instructional lessons as well.
Jonson, a native of Dallas, Texas, graduated from William & Mary in May 2011, with a BBA in marketing.
