Pete Pososki joined the Virginia Tech women’s soccer staff in March 2011 after spending the last six seasons as an assistant at the University of Pennsylvania. During Pososki's tenure, Penn won a pair of Ivy League championships, appeared in the NCAA Tournament, compiled an overall record of 56-32-14 and never had a losing season.
Pososki has coached at both the collegiate and youth level. Prior to his arrival at Penn, he worked at Northern Illinois where he served as an assistant coach, recruiting coordinator and camp director. Pososki was also a volunteer assistant coach at Eastern Michigan from 2001-03. At the youth level, he was an evaluator and staff coach for the Michigan Olympic Development Program (ODP) and the head coach of the Novi Jaguars Soccer Club. He was also a member of the coaching staff at the Eastern Michigan Soccer Camp for five years.
Prior to beginning his coaching career, Pososki earned three varsity letters as a center and outside back at Eastern Michigan University before the sport’s elimination. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in criminal justice from EMU in 2003.
Pososki holds a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) “C” license.
