Ryan Rotanz Volunteer Assistant Coach

    Ryan Rotanz is in her first year as a volunteer assistant for Coach Megan Burker’s lacrosse program. The native of nearby Salem, Va., graduated from Virginia Tech in 2012 with a degree in human development.

    Rotanz played in 60 games at Tech and made 45 starts in a four-year playing career with the Hokies. She scored 71 goals and assisted on 20 more for a total of 91 career points as part of the Tech attack.

    A success off the field as well, Rotanz made the ACC All-Academic Team in 2011 and 2012. She also earned a spot on the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll and won the YRL Unsung Hero Award as a senior in 2012.
