Responsibilities: Rudd is the supervisor of the athletics department business office and is responsible for budgeting, financial reporting, oversight of financial policies and procedures, and capital project funding.  She supervises three full-time staff members in the positions of business manager, assistant business manager, and administrative services manager.

Joined VT Athletics Staff : 2004.

Prior to Virginia Tech athletics: Rudd worked at Virginia Tech in the positions of buyer/contracts manager in the purchasing department, budget analyst in the Office of Budget and Financial Planning, and assistant to the vice president for finance and chief financial officer.  Prior to coming to the university in 1996, she worked for nine years as a buyer for a local department store chain.

Education: Virginia Tech, 1989 (B.S. in business – marketing management); Virginia Tech, 1996 (masters of business administration from the Pamplin College of Business).

Personal: A native of Chesapeake, Va., Lisa and her husband John live in Blacksburg.
