    Women's Tennis

Kelly Williford is in her first year as the student assistant coach for the Virginia Tech women’s tennis program. She assists head coach Terry Ann Zawacki-Woods and assistant coach Will Davis with all day-to-day tennis operations.

Williford, a former women’s tennis standout at Virginia Tech, guided the Hokies to a 71-45 record over a four-year period, notching a 53-48 singles record and a 51-44 doubles mark. She also helped the Hokies reach the 2015 NCAA Tournament for the first time since joining the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), ending the 2015 campaign with a 16-10 record.

A native of Basking Ridge, New Jersey, Williford came to Blacksburg as a four-start recruit and was ranked 97th in the nation by TennisRecruiting.net.

Williford will graduate this fall with a bachelor’s degree in economics.
