Freshmen…during their first year, we will assist freshmen in learning about academic/career interests through self-awareness, researching and choosing a desirable major, and developing a strong academic foundation at Virginia Tech.
Sophomores…this program will assist sophomores in finalizing their major/minor programs of study, learning and utilizing the career development resources on campus through Career Services and the Office of Student Life, and researching and engaging in the necessary academic requirements for graduation.
Juniors…this plan will provide juniors with specific tools to help them fully utilize the career development resources on campus, understand and identify transferable skills that will be beneficial in their career/graduate school search, and secure an internship (if necessary).
Seniors…in addition to utilizing campus career resources, this program is intended to help improve their level of effective interpersonal communication skills, secure full-time employment post graduation or gain admission into graduate school.
