General: The school-record holder in the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:42.57 ... The 2012 ACC Champion in the 100 backstroke.
2011-12: Had an outstanding junior campaign, winning the 100 backstroke at the ACC Championships ... Scored for Tech at the NCAA Championships, coming in 14th in the 200 backstroke and earning Honorable Mention All-America honors ... Also placed ninth in the 200 backstroke and 20th in the 50 freestyle at ACCs ... Went undefeated against Georgia Tech, taking home both backstroke titles ... Placed third in the 50 freestyle at William & Mary ... Took home the titles in the 100 and 200 backstrokes against Virginia ... 2010-11: Earned 28 points in his first season as a H2Okie at ACCs, finishing fourth in the 200 back and sixth in the 100 back … Finished third in the 100 back, sixth in the 200 back and 15th in the 100 free at the Volunteer Invitational … Won the 100 back and set a new pool record at Cincinnati with his former team, Kentucky, on Jan. 29 … Swam “B” cut times in the 100 back (48.37) and 200 back (1:44.86) … Ranked seventh in the ACC and 54th in the nation in the 200 back and eighth in the ACC and 77th in the nation in the 100 back.
2009-10: Swam for the University of Kentucky … Placed 17th at the SEC Championship in the 100 meter backstroke and sixth in the 200m and 400m medley relays … Male Freshman of the Year.
