2017 outdoor: Was a member of the school-record setting 4x400-meter relay team at the Penn Relays, finishing with a time of 3:08.75 for the win in the Men's College Final ... Also advanced to the Men's College Final in the 4x100-meter relay event at that same meet, earning a season-best time of 40.77 seconds ... Competed in the 400-meter hurdles at three different meets, notching a school-record time of 50.83 seconds at the War Eagle Invitational ... Ran the 200 meters for the first time outdoors at the Tennessee Relays, finishing in fourth with a personal-best time of 21.26 seconds ... Was a member of the 4x400-meter relay team that qualified for the finals at the Texas Relays, placing sixth overall ... Also placed sixth in the 400-meter hurdle finals at that same meet ... Won the 400-meter hurdles in his outdoor debut at the Weems Baskin Invitational.

2017 indoor: Collected first-team All-America honors as a member of the distance medley relay team at the NCAA Championships, earning a silver medal in the event with a time of 9:33.35 … Reset the program record in the 400-meter dash three times this season, earning a season-best mark of 46.98 seconds in the prelims of the ACC Championships … Also received a bronze medal in the 200 at the ACC Championships, recording a time of 21.25 seconds in the finals to earn first-team all-league recognition … Was a member of the 4x400 relay team at the ACC Championships, placing seventh overall with a time of 3:12.09 … Also was a member of the winning 4x400 relay team at the Music City Challenge, finishing the race in a school-record time of 3 minutes, 11.11 seconds for the win ... Additionally, collected a second-place finish as a member of the DMR team at the Music City Challenge, finishing in a time of 9:31.15 - the fifth-fastest time in the event in program history ... Ran the 400 meters at the Music City Challenge, the Bob Pollock Invitational and the Hokie Invitational, recording three top-five finishes in the event … Also ran the 500 at the Virginia Tech Invitational and was second with a time of 1:03.91 – the sixth-best time in the event in school history.

Prior to Virginia Tech: Competed in indoor and outdoor track and field at the University of South Carolina for two seasons, primarily in the 200- and 400-meter events … Ran the 400 at the 2015 SEC Indoor Championship, recording his best time of the season for the event while finishing 29th (49.58) … Qualified for the 2015 USATF Junior Nationals in the 400-meter hurdles, running a personal-best time of 52.84 to finish fifth in the finals … Ran a personal best in a string of three consecutive 400-meter hurdles to end the 2016 season, running 52.13 at the SEC Championships, 51.63 at the East Regional Prelim and 51. 40 in the regional final.

High school: Was a four-year letterwinner at Western Branch under Claude Toukene … Won the state title in the 300-meter hurdles and 4x100-meter event … Was named the 2014 New Balance Indoor National Champion in the 4x55h shuttle relay as well as the 2015 New Balance Outdoor National Champion in the 4x110h shuttle relay … Was a Sprint Medley, Swedish Relay and 4x100 meter All-American selection.
