2017 outdoor: Tied his career best at the Duke Invitational, vaulting a height of 5.31 meters (17 ft., 5 in.) for fourth place ... Earned a sixth-place finish in the pole vault event at the Tennessee Relays, jumping a height of 4.95 meters (16 ft., 2.75 in.) ... Made his outdoor debut at the Texas Relays, tying for 8th place overall in his section of the men's pole vault event with a mark of 5.06 meters (16 ft., 7.25 in.).
