2017 outdoor: Competed in the men's pole vault event at the prestigious Texas Relays, jumping a lifetime-best height of 5.70 meters (18 ft., 8.25 in.) to reset the program and league all-time record in the outdoor event ... Was named the ACC Men's Field Performer of the Week following his performance at the Texas Relays on April 1.

2017 indoor: Was named the ACC Scholar Athlete of the Year ... Tied for sixth at the NCAA Championships, vaulting a height of 5.45 meters … Also was a first-team All-American in the event … Was crowned the ACC champion in the pole vault event with a season-best jump of 5.55 meters (18 ft., 2.5 in.), earning first-team all-conference honors … Won the Doc Hale VT Elite Meet with a vault of 5.52 meters (18 ft., 1.25 in.) ...
