2012 Outdoor: Won the ACC title in the pole vault with a school record clearance of 14-1.25 (4.30m)... Initially set the school record in the pole vault (13-11.25, 4.25m) with a fourth place finish at the Texas Relays.

2012 Indoor: Earned first team All-America honors with a seventh place finish in the pole vault at the NCAA Championships (13-11.25, 4.25m) ... Finished runner-up at the ACC Championship in the pole vault, tying the meet record with a season best 14-1.75 (4.31m), while helping the Hokies sweep the event … Debuted with a fourth place finish at the VT Elite Meet (13-8.5, 4.18m) … Runner-up at the SPIRE Division I Collegiate (13-6.25, 4.12m) … Took third at the VT Challenge (13-10.5, 4.23m).

Prior to Tech: Attended the University of Stuttgart ... Won the European Junior Championship in the pole vault in Novi Sad, Serbia in July of 2009 with a clearance of 13-9.25 (4.20m) ... Posted an outdoor personal best of 14-5.25 (4.40m) in July of 2010.

Personal: Born on September 12, 1990 in Kirchheim, Germany ... Daughter of Cornelius and Renate Schultze ... Has three older siblings.
