PRINCETON, N.J. - The Virginia Tech women's track and field team earned a top 20 team finish at the ECAC championships following Sunday's competition in Princeton, N.J.

Damali Hay led the way for Tech with a fourth place performance in the 100-meter dash in a time of 11.90. Kristin Price placed sixth in the 1,500 in a time of 4:27.56, which was her final tune-up for NCAAs. Dee O'Connell was Tech's only other scorer on Sunday as she placed seventh in the javelin with a 139'10" throw.

In the team competition, Tech finished 20th with 15 points, while Georgetown took home the title with 87 points.

Chris Seaton was in action for the men on Saturday at Northeaster University in Boston, Mass. The senior competed in the 5,000 with hopes of qualifying for the NCAA Championships. Although he came up short with a 14:13.61 effort, it was good enough for second place and a personal record.

Kristin Price continues her season in two weeks when she competes in the 5,000 at the NCAA Championships. Full results from the ECAC championships can be found at www.ecac.com.
