Habazin finished as the runner-up in the invitational section of the women's hammer throw with a mark of 206'3" (62.87m), and Kristen Callan placed sixth with a mark of 195'2" (59.49m). Brittany Pryor won the open section with a mark of 190'6" (58.06m), which earned first place by more than 15 feet over the nearest competitor. All three performances met the NCAA Regional qualifying standard.
Pryor then took third place in the invitational section of the discus with a mark of 166'5" (50.72m), while Erika Schroeder placed 10th in the open section with a distance of 146'11" (44.79m).
Kelly Phillips took sixth place in the women's pole vault, clearing an outdoor season-best height of 13'3.5" (4.05m). Erin Mahony joined Phillips in the top 10 of the event with a height of 12'7.5" (3.85m). Elise Birnbaum placed 13th with a height of 12'3.5" (3.75m).
Inclement weather canceled the last half of the day's action. The meet went into a delay at 5:11 p.m., but will continue throughout the day tomorrow.
