Responsibilities/Job Description
Work
under the supervision of staff athletic trainers in the provision of care and
coverage of various sports medicine initiatives (i.e. varsity athletics, high
school athletics, health and wellness activites, physician clinics, etc...). Assist in the supervision and instruction of student athletic
trainers. Participation in bi-monthly in-service program.
Dates/Times
of Service
August 1st - May 1st. Work hours may include some mornings,
nights, weekends and/or holidays. In addition, GA Athletic Trainers are
expected to be on-call as necessary.
Compensation/Stipend
Full in-state/out-of-state tuition and fees waiver, stipend for
room and board, along with a book stipend. In certain cases, the stipend will
be based on the applicant's certification status.

Qualifications
NATABOC certified or eligible; First
Aid/CPR certified; admission to Graduate School. AED certified preferred;
Lifeguard certified preferred; Certified Pool Technician beneficial.
